About MGU

Movie Geeks United! (MGU) is one of the top movie-related podcasts in the world. Started in 2007, the podcast features over 1,000 interviews with the most creative and talented artists in the film industry, and a slate of special series celebrating cinematography, film scoring, documentary filmmaking, the works of Stanley Kubrick and much more.

In 2020, MGU introduced two new podcasts as part of their network. The Blu Report includes a review of each month’s roster of Blu-ray releases with an emphasis on the niche titles that collectors crave most.

Premiering in March 2020, Movie Geek Yearbook will offer detailed analysis of every film that was given a significant U.S. release during any given year. The show features in-depth conversations with the directors, stars and assorted crew members who made each film, as well as critics, authors and historians who continue to debate their merits. The opening season deep dives into the film year of 1970, and features extensive coverage of 160 titles. Guests include Jane Alexander, Tom Skerritt, Louis Gossett, Jr., and hundreds of others.
